Location

St Mary's (red marker) is located on the corner of Honey Hill, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1RT.
Car parking at weekends is currently available behind the Premier Inn (to the right hand side) in Raingate Street. During the week the nearest car park is currently at Ram Meadow, Cotton Lane, IP33 1XP (10 minutes walk away).

St Peter's (blue marker) and the Hyndman Centre (green marker) are located on Hospital Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3JT. Access to the large car park is via Petticoat Lane and Hospital Road.

The parish office is located in St Mary's Church

  • BREXIT: THE ISSUES. Shortened evening prayer followed by an opportunity to consider the Christian and biblical perspective on some of the big issues raised by the referendum debate. Sunday 5 June, 6.30pm at St Mary's

  • Tea (from 5.30pm) followed by a special festival service with combined choirs to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. Sunday June 12th, 6.30pm at St Mary's. Speaker: Clive Paine

We hope you enjoy browsing this site and finding out a bit about us. Do come and see us. You would be very welcome, whether as a visitor (St Mary’s is open during the day and is one of the most stunning churches you can visit), or at one of our growing services. We try to offer a warm welcome and a safe place for people who are looking to find a Church or who want to find out more about the Christian faith and Jesus Christ. We are also popular for thanksgiving services, christenings, weddings (last year we hosted ‘the celebrity wedding of the year’) and as places to hold funeral and memorial services for those we have loved. We also have a great hall and rooms available for hire!
